Let’s warm our thoughts from chilly December and think about weddings in June! This happy couple, Christine and Jonathan, tied the knot this past June when it was much, much warmer! They were married at Bethel Lutheran Church with a reception at the Missouri Botanical Gardens, Monsanto Hall. (Photos by Bernie Elking Photography)
Christine’s bouquet was a mix of white peonies, light pink and ivory roses. We thought the flowers were as sweet as the bride’s smile!!
Christine’s make-up artist, Amanda Harris, did a great job highlighting the bride’s naturally beautiful features. (Contact Amanda at 314-223-3836)
The bridesmaids carried mixed pink gerber daisy bouquets accented with jade berries.
The aisle at the church was lined with these silver julep cups filled to the top with peonies and roses. These cups were easily transported to the reception and used there to decorate.
The guest tables at Monsanto Hall had tall trumpet vases with curly willow branches, white hydrangea, and light pink roses for a very gardeny look at the gardens!
All our best to the bride, groom, and their lovely families!!
