Lush Greenery

Recent trends in flowers for weddings and parties have been leaning more towards clean lines and very little, if any, greenery. While that look can be very beautiful and classic, here is an example of how greenery can be used in fun, unique, and interesting ways. Laura and Robert were married in September at UMSL Provincial Chapel. Laura LOVED texture and greenery. She wanted all of her bouquets to be lush with greenery and minimalistic on the flower blooms. The …

64,000 Rose Petals!!

This was a VERY lush aisle at a recent ceremony that we helped out with. This aisle was lined with 64,000 white rose petals to make a path for the bride at her outdoor ceremony. Check it out! There were four cardboard boxes filled with sixteen smaller individual boxes of petals. The boxes were heavy and PACKED with petals!! We lined the aisle with full mounds of petals. No one could mistake that the bride would make her grand entrance …

Blue and Yellow

Elise and Ben were married this past May. Blue and yellow were their wedding colors, so we designed a flower style around that. Take a look at these beautiful shots taken by Cary Klein. Re-using Flowers from Ceremony to Reception

Here is a great example of how aisle decorations can be used at both the ceremony and the reception. This particular bride of ours had an outdoor wedding with clusters of her wedding flowers on the chairs at the ceremony. Afterward, her coordinator removed the flowers from the ceremony and placed them on the backs of the head table chairs at the reception. At the ceremony…….. …….and again at the reception. Another option that we give our brides is to …
