Rustic Blush and Ivory at Old Barn Inn

We always love when we can work with a family more than once for a wedding!  Kelsey, who is a sister of a former bride, and Sean had a beautiful autumn wedding at the Old Barn Inn.  Blush pink and ivory tones with hints of rustic texture were just perfect for the venue and the great outdoors. (Photos by Keith Lee Studios) Kelsey carried this mix of hydrangea, anemones, roses, dahlias, and fine-leafed eucalyptus.  Very elegant with just a hint …

Textures of Blush Pink and Ivory at St. Luke the Evangelist and Forest Park Golf Club

Kristen and Sean celebrated their marriage with vows at St. Luke the Evangelist and a reception at Forest Park Golf Club.  Here are some amazing images from Caretto Studio. Kristen’s bouquet was one of our favorites.  She wanted soft colors and lots of texture and trusted us with the rest.  She carried a loose mix of snapdragons, berries, garden roses, cremones, and anemones to create this look. The maids carried similar textures and flowers, but with brighter shades of blooms. …

The bridesmaids carried a clutch of all tulips with a similar look and feel as the bridal bouquet. We love this look for all seasons.  With a few minor changes in …

Trendy Cascade Bouquets??

Often times, we hear clients refer to “old-fashioned cascade bouquets” as something outdated and not for them.  Recently, we have had an abundance of clients requesting and sending pictures of bouquets that definitely have cascade bouquet characteristics, but with a modern flair. We like to call them mock cascades.  These bouquets do have draping blooms and greenery and are not tight and round.  They have flowers that are more forward-facing as opposed to the hand-tied bouquet look.  However, they are …

Inspiration Pictures from Pinterest- The Price is in the Details

We say over and over at our studio that we really don’t know how our clients select the type, color, and style of their wedding flowers.  There are so many flowers to choose from and so many more options than there was just a decade ago.  Many of our clients use Pinterest and the internet to give them ideas of what they like and don’t like, but the options really are endless.  Once a client has settled on a picture …
