Classic White and Ivory

This traditional and classic white and ivory wedding was for Kimberly and Steven. Here are some amazing shots by Lace. Kim’s bouquet was an all white and ivory mix that included hydrangea, spray roses, freesia, lisianthus, gardenias, waxflower, and pearled stephanotis. She picked a burgundy criss-cross ribbon to incorporate her accent color. The bride loved texture so we used a several kinds of greenery to give the whole bouquet more detail and interest. Batter up! New Year’s Eve Weddings

Sisters Flowers had two New Year’s Eve weddings!! Both were classy and elegant in their own stylish way. Take a look at some of the snapshots we took of our set-up that day!! WEDDING AT HILTON BALLPARK This wedding used red, burgundy, and white for it’s decor. These tall arrangements on top of pilsner vases left the middle of the vase clear with the flowers starting above the guests’ heads. The flowers included snapdragons, hydrangea, roses, and stock. These cube …

Two Fun Receptions

November was a great month here at Sisters! We did some awesome weddings and receptions! Here are some snapshots that we took while setting up at the Mad Art Gallery and Westborough Country Club. This destination wedding reception at Mad Art Gallery had all the elements of a tropical island dream! The warm colors of the flowers and decor helped bring the tropical location of the ceremony to St. Louis in November! The gallery walls were washed with pink and …

Deep, Red Fall bouquets

These are some beautiful examples of red bouquets and flowers, without using all roses. Lisa and Brett were married in early October and had a very elegant reception at Hyatt Union Station. Photos by Denash Photography. Lisa’s bouquet was a mix of several different types and textures of red flowers that included mini callas, orchids, roses, and hypericum berries. The bridesmaids carried bouquets of all red mini callas with looped lily grass accents. The entire reception was blanketed in candlelight. …

Fall wedding at the Chase

Fall is one of our FAVORITE seasons here at Sisters. Not only is the temperature a little more desirable, but the colors and flowers that we get to work with are out of this world! Here is a great example from this past weekend at the wedding of Susie & Sandeep. Susie’s bouquet had a rich, fall color tone. Circus roses, jade berries, red/burgundy coxcomb, ivory ranunculus, and orange orchids brought all the colors of the season to the ceremony. …

Hot Pink and Black Wedding

Here’s a color palette that really made a statement! Rochelle and Kevin got married this past July. We really played up the hot summer colors and made all the flowers real focal points for the event. (All of these gorgeous photos were provided by Lace.) The bridal bouquet was all hot pinks: hydrangea, mini gerbers, roses, spray roses, and freesia. The bridesmaids’ flowers were the same as the bride’s, just smaller and without the hydrangea. The decor for the ceremony …

Wedding at St. Francis Xavier & the History Museum

This is a wedding we did last weekend for two great people at two great venues. We enjoyed working with the bride and groom, Sabine and George, and we wish them many years of happiness. A lot of planning went into making this a gorgeous event! Kudos to Sabrina from Proposing Dreams for giving her all to every detail of this wedding. Spectacular lighting and room decor by Exclusive Events really transformed an already awesome venue. Here are some shots …

Wedding at the Coronado

When everything comes together, a wedding can be just beautiful. Emily Reed’s wedding, on June 21, is a wonderful example. Brightly colored dresses and flowers, and the Coronado Ballroom all played their part in helping the bride’s vision become reality. All of these gorgeous shots were taken by Lace. Emily carried a clutch of mango mini calla lilies, to match her bridesmaids’ colors. The bridesmaids carried mango callas, cherry brandy roses, coral spray roses, and green hydrangea as a splash …
