Hot Pink and Berry Orchids

We love a bright pop of color!  Here are some awesome shots by Storybook Photography of our designs that incorporated a splash of hot pink and berry using a mix of blooms including ORCHIDS!! Tall pedestals and low metallic vases lined the long farm table. Berry and hot pink phalenopsis and dendrobium orchids were featured in all of the pieces. A bright orchid bloom at each place setting was a fun touch. We loved the gold and berry shades together …

Vows at Christ Lutheran Church and Reception at Chase Park Plaza

Suzanne and Dave had a June wedding with a lot of personal touches. Here are some photographs courtesy of Megan Thiele Studios. Suzanne wanted brightly colored flowers for herself. We designed this bouquet of jewel-toned blooms that included roses, orchids and hydrangea. These moss-covered initials hung on the doors at the ceremony and were used again at the reception. The bright colors of the ceremony were carried through into the reception in the Zodiac Room. Special thanks to the staff …

Now That’s a Bouquet!

Here’s a sneak peek at a bouquet we did for a wedding this past weekend. The bride wanted this flowing orchid bouquet to almost touch the ground as she walked down the aisle. Our designer, Shahla, made that request a reality with about 5 different kinds of orchids and one very heavy bouquet! When it was completed, this bouquet was approximately 4 feet long! Professional shots of the bride carrying it when we get them!!! Wow! 🙂

Tropical Inspired Centerpieces

These are some snapshots of a tall and short centerpiece we did recently as a mock-up for a client. Bright, tropical flowers were the order of the day! The Tall: The Short: 🙂

Bridal Show Bouquet

These snapshots are of one of the bouquets we took to the St. Louis Bride Magazine show at the Chase. It featured lilacs, mini callas and peonies with orchids and spray roses in a updated version of a traditional cascade. We wrapped the stems with pearl beads for an extra vintage touch. The bouquet had a lovely scent and showcased the soft textures of spring. 🙂

Lovely Winter White

The design of this winter wedding was a lot of fun! Touches of winter flowers and greenery made everything come together for the season. Take a look at our pre-delivery snapshots. The bridesmaids’ bouquets were a winter flower called amaryllis with cedar and holly to accent. The traditional bridal bouquet was cascade style with roses, mini callas, dendrobium orchids, stephanotis, crystals and winter greens. Our very own Chelsea makes a great model! 🙂 We really enjoyed creating these classic winter …

From Inspiration to a Dream Come True

One of our lovely brides from 2010 brought in this inspiration photo. She really liked the lushness and texture of this bouquet and fell in love with the pearl detail. At Sisters, we always want to give the bride whatever she wants for her bouquet. So, we took the bride’s inspiration and used our special touch to make her magazine photo come to life for her wedding day. Take a look. Inspiration photo above and the Sisters version below. All …
