More Pictures of a Summery Wedding

Here are some snapshots a wedding we did back on August 1st and blogged about earlier. This wedding had an outdoor reception at the bride’s house with very summer-y colors. The bridal bouquet was a garden-y mix of ivory roses, white mini callas, yellow freesia, purple filler, buplerum, and white cattaleya orchids. The aisle was decorated with two different kinds of flowers arrangements–these flower clusters….. ……and these flower balls. The altar was lined with this bright, mixed arrangement. All the …

Continuing the Yellow Theme….

Here is another example of using yellow flowers for a bright, summer-y wedding. These shots were taken by our very own “Sister”, Chelsea, at a wedding just a few weeks ago. The bridal bouquet was a bright mix of yellow roses, white freesia, and white waxflower filler. The entry table at the ceremony had this large, showy arrangement in the wedding colors. …

Blue and Yellow

Elise and Ben were married this past May. Blue and yellow were their wedding colors, so we designed a flower style around that. Take a look at these beautiful shots taken by Cary Klein. Elise carried a bouquet of blue hydrangea with yellow tulips and freesia. It was a very garden-y look with a vintage feel. The girls carried yellow gerber daisies and blue delphinium to continue the garden-y look. The aisle was lined with the bride’s blue hydrangea. The …

Coral and Yellow

We have noticed this spring and summer that coral and yellow are becoming very popular for weddings. Here is an example of both colors mixed together in a bridal bouquet. These flowers included cherry brandy roses, yellow freesia, white mini callas, and coral spray roses. More coral and yellow examples coming soon!!

White Linear Bouquet

This white and ivory bouquet has a unique shape and texture. The large white callas and green bells of Ireland help to give it a very linear shape, as opposed to a more rounded look. White freesia, jade berries, and roses also help to give the bouquet a lot of great texture–one of our favorite things here at Sisters. Take a look! 🙂
