All Tulip Bridal Bouquet

This very spring-y bridal bouquet was such a needed boost here at Sisters! We are all SO ready for spring and spring flowers! We used vibrant pink and white tulips accented with jade berries. So fresh and fun! 🙂

Rehearsal Dinner at Kemoll’s Top of the Met

This dinner was a fun gathering with lots of spring color! The linens and room accents were in black and white, so we did black vases with pinks, lavenders, and greens. We are all so ready for spring! Take a look! The guest tables……. The lounge area……. (Furniture and lighting by Exclusive Events) What’s that funky green flower in the front of that vase? That’s green trick-one of our new favorite flowers here at Sisters! It has such a vibrant …

Winter Wedding at Renaissance Grand

Check out the fantastic Statler Room at the Renaissance…….this was our first event in this newly restored space that the hotel is now offering for events. This reception featured the Mother-of-the-Bride’s mercury glass containers with all different arrangements of white and blue flowers. We used different types of flowers in each arrangement to make this event reflect the winter theme- hydrangea, lilies, tulips, amaryllis, roses, stock, and mums. Some of the guest tables were long tables with seating on both …

Bevo Mill Show

We enjoyed participating in the Bevo Mill show last weekend. Here are some of the designs we took with us. All red roses are so classic, but can be given a unique spin with just a little touch. This bouquet had a wire collar for some added interest. We feel like spring is in the air! That was the inspiration for this bouquet. With orchids, tulips, ranunculus and hydrangea, who wouldn’t think spring looking at this grouping?! All the Sisters …

Bright Bat Mitzvah at the Magic House

January was a cold month in St. Louis! Luckily, Sisters was able to help out with this bright, warm event at the always fun Magic House. We worked with a lovely family on their daughter’s Bat Mitzvah on January 8th. Here are the wonderful photos courtesy of Josephine Havlak. Decorations at the temple included mixed spring flowers in the event’s colors- green, orange and hot pink. For the party, we decorated all the guest tables with large vases of green …

Holiday Party at the Chase

As promised, pictures of the flowers for the holiday party and fundraiser for St. Vincent’s Children’s Home. As with the previous holiday party, this client also chose not to use traditional holiday colors. We did short arrangements of white tulips, purple stock, blue hydrangea and filler with winter greens for the small guest tables. The taller arrangements for the food stations included silver birch, green fuji mums, purple iris, blue delphinium and filler. We thought these colors looked great in …

Tulips and Looped Grass

This fun piece was for a grand opening. We filled a large cylinder vase with willow branches and orange tulips and attached some tulips up in the branches. We tied grass loops all throughout for a very contemporary feel. This arrangement had a presence made a statement!! 🙂

Third Degree Glass Factory

This colorful reception at the Third Degree Glass Factory was this past spring. Teals and oranges were used to celebrate the bride’s Indian heritage. The flowers were a bright mix of oranges including roses, gerber daisies and tulips. The centerpieces alternated high and low vases for some table variety. This shot by Gail Fleming shows the whole room after it was set with linens and lighting. The room was splashed with color. 🙂

Blue and Yellow

Elise and Ben were married this past May. Blue and yellow were their wedding colors, so we designed a flower style around that. Take a look at these beautiful shots taken by Cary Klein. Elise carried a bouquet of blue hydrangea with yellow tulips and freesia. It was a very garden-y look with a vintage feel. The girls carried yellow gerber daisies and blue delphinium to continue the garden-y look. The aisle was lined with the bride’s blue hydrangea. The …
