Bright Colors at Kemp Auto Museum

This past July, bright colors were the name of the game here at Sisters. Check out this show-stopping color scheme for mid-summer at the Kemp Auto Museum. The bridal bouquet (above) and the bridesmaids’ bouquets (below) all had pops of greens, oranges, corals and yellows. The bride accented her flowers with white, pearled stephanotis. The aisle at the ceremony was …

Peonies in July!

We’ve blogged about it before, but sometimes the unexpected really does happen!! Robin, a sweet bride of ours, who married Paul in July, really wanted peonies in her bouquet. We told her we couldn’t promise anything, since the July heat makes them nearly impossible to get. When the white peonies showed up at our studio, we were in awe! We …

All Tied Up

A simple way to add flair and personal touches to your bouquets is to choose a unique wrap. Sometimes, a fancy ribbon or special pins can really add a lot. This is a black satin under a patterned green and black ribbon. Navy satin wrap lines the lace of this bouquet. Damask print ribbon accented the linen for the reception …

Iris Stands Alone

We love this example of an all iris bouquet. The iris blooms give the bouquet a lot of texture without mixing flowers. Iris also work with other mixed flowers in bouquets, but this is a unique way to showcase their beauty. 🙂

Silver Pitchers and Pies, Oh My!

This June wedding had a lot of unique personal touches. A bagpiper and the groom welcomed guests to the ceremony at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. The soft color scheme was pulled in with lush, textured bouquets. The bridal bouquet was all peonies and the bridesmaids carried a mix of roses and fillers including Queen Anne’s lace. The reception …

Rehearsal Dinner Flowers

Sisters Flowers can take care of not only your flowers on your wedding day, but also for the rehearsal. Here are some of our snapshots of some recent rehearsal dinner table arrangements. This bride had a very formal and elegant wedding, but wanted a more casual “backyard barbecue” feel at her rehearsal dinner. We mixed some summery colors and flowers …

Pops of Color

Sometimes having a pastel color scheme doesn’t mean you should shy away from bright colors. Here are two weddings that had somewhat subdued color schemes with pops of color. The bride’s bouquet had peach and white accents to her bright pink peonies. Her bridesmaids’ bouquets stayed very subdued in just whites and blush pinks. The centerpieces at the Piper Palm …

Very Cool Flower Lamps!

Just as promised……pictures of the centerpieces from Emily and Mike’s reception (you saw their ceremony in a previous blog). Emily wanted this lamp look for her reception at Neo. We incorporated her hot pink color with gladiolas that were contained within a large cylinder vase. We then added the lampshade on top (with LED lights inside) and an LED disc …

Bright and Fresh

This wedding had such a refreshing seasonal feel for early summer. Crisp whites, yellows and greens were the main colors. These bouquets, in the window at the church, were what the bridesmaids carried. The bridal bouquet- held below by a bridesmaid- had the same flowers but with added green cymbidium orchids. We think all of our brides are gorgeous! The …
