Bling, Sparkle & Disco Balls!

This event was for the celebration of Katie & Todd’s wedding. Both the ceremony and reception were held at Ameristar Casino. The bride’s shoes were the inspiration for the bling, mirrored vases and disco balls that were used at the reception. We enjoyed working closely with Lacy Branch Events on this wedding. A special thanks to Lace for these amazing …

Tulips and Looped Grass

This fun piece was for a grand opening. We filled a large cylinder vase with willow branches and orange tulips and attached some tulips up in the branches. We tied grass loops all throughout for a very contemporary feel. This arrangement had a presence made a statement!! 🙂

Love Story of Amina & Phillip

It was a joy working with such a charismatic couple in love! Amina and Phillip were married Oct. 23 at Christ Church Cathedral and celebrated with a reception at the Four Seasons. We worked closely with Lacy Branch Events who coordinated the design for the day. These phenomenal shots of the event are by Bobbi Brinkman Photography. At the reception, …

Bright Ribbon Band

This arrangement is shown in our design studio. We love the ribbon detail and the wild look of the curly willow. It’s a great example of using non-flower elements to bring color into an arrangement. 🙂

ten.ten.ten Flower Shots!

Here are the awesome flower photos from Cedar Lake Farms, courtesy of Browers Photography. We get so excited when our brides love the flowers as much as we do! We love bright colors and texture for fall, so we used both! Feathers were an added touch for all the personal flowers. The Ceremony We decorated our canopy with branches and …

Red Carnation Sphere

Here is a snapshot of a giant sphere of dark red carnations that was used on a placecard table. The bride brought us this candle holder and wanted to add red flowers to it for a big statement in the pre-function area for her reception. Over 100 carnations were used to make this tightly packed ball. It measured approximately 24″ …

Just as promised–some professional shots by Kelly Pratt of Melissa and Kevin’s wedding at Gardens at Malmaisson! It was such a gorgeous day for an outdoor ceremony with fall flowers. The pictures tell the whole story….. It was a pleasure to get to work on this wedding. Best wishes to Melissa and Kevin!! 🙂

Flower Farm in Holland

You have got to see this! It’s amazing to think that we get our flowers flown in from farms just like these!! Beats the heck out of the plain jane corn, bean and wheat fields we mostly see!! We took a vote here at Sisters and it’s unanimous–our next location will be Sisters Holland!! 🙂

Autumn Wedding, Gardens at Malmaisson– Part 1

Sisters Flowers helped out with the very beautiful wedding of Melissa and Kevin earlier this month. Take a look at our snapshots of the ceremony and reception decor. The outdoor ceremony was such a pretty preview of the coming autumn colors. We decorated the aisle and the arch in the fall wedding colors. We added hanging votives to the back …

Sisters has a New Design Studio!

New this summer, Sisters is proud to showcase their “industrial chic” consultation space. We outgrew the cottage and have moved both our production and consultations to our new location at 431 East Clinton Place– still in the Kirkwood that we love! We enjoy the potential that a new space brings and we look forward to servicing our clients in style …
