Autumn is a lovely time for a wedding in Lafayette Square!  This couple opted to say their “I Dos” in the grotto in front of the bridge.  The aisle was decorated with greenery swags on the chairs.  In addition to the scenic backdrop, we added flower pieces to the ground to help frame the bride & groom.  The flowers carried by the bride and her maids were non-traditional mixes of white, ivory, and burgundy with a background of lush greenery.  Ranunculus, veronica, and dahlias were just a few of the blooms we added to give a textured fall look.  The groom wore a burgundy ranunculus on his lapel.  The guests walked into the reception at Sqwires and found their assigned tables from a garden arrangement of wedding colors accented with the seating chart.  Fun details were everywhere at this wedding!
