Are Traditional Cascade Bouquets a Thing of the Past?

Often, we encounter a client who wants all their designs to be “fresh & new”, nothing “old or traditional”.  In our 20+ years in the wedding business, we have seen trends come & go and we’re here to say that everything “old” is new again!  Bridal cascade bouquets can be seen as old-fashioned, but have really made a comeback in recent years.  This cascade bouquet was made more loose & natural for a bride who wanted the drape of a …

Autumn Forest Park Wedding

We can’t help but be captivated by this Autumn Forest Park wedding!  The classic and charming bridal bouquet of ivory garden roses and lush greenery paired perfectly with the bride’s sleek wedding gown.  Guests enjoyed a serene reception in St. Louis’s iconic Art Museum with candlelit tables and tall trumpet vases overflowing with garden roses, larkspur, white stock, mums, and hydrangeas.  Surely this was a night to remember for all! Blue and White Summer Wedding

the bridal party

The floral scheme was clean and classic for this summer wedding.  Round, white hydrangeas and subtle hints of eucalyptus were used to create the bridesmaids’ classic bouquets.  In keeping with her bridesmaids, the bridal bouquet had hydrangeas, roses, silver dollar eucalyptus and a subtle pop of blue delphinium to tie everything together.  The team created eloquent high arrangements of blue delphinium, salal, and eucalyptus. As always, the venue, 612North, never disappoints! Images:  Jessica Lauren Photography Location: 612North

Bright Spring Wedding at Four Seasons

It is easy to see why the Four Seasons is a prime location to host your St. Louis wedding. The adorned broken arch allowed guests to enjoy the iconic monument while being surrounded by roses, ranunculus, and baby’s breath in shades of pink, ivory and white. Reception tables were embellished with mixed greenery and baby’s breath on tall arrangements to allow conversation to flow freely.  Spring was definitely in the air for this wedding! Early Spring Wedding with Moody Color Palette

Our designers love creating for weddings at Silver Oaks Chateau! The team added greenery to the venue’s rustic chandeliers creating interest from tablescape to ceiling. The combination of mums, roses, ranunculus, wax flower, stock, and mixed greenery created this bride’s idyllic bouquet.  The embellished round arbor and table garlands continued the floral scheme throughout the venue space.  We enjoy designing around the structural details at Silver Oaks Chateau! SLAM Summer Wedding

The St. Louis Art Museum was the backdrop for this summer wedding reception.  The guest tables and head table were adorned with delicate white & ivory flowers.  Both the low & tall centerpieces included tropical greenery & interesting textures.  Phalaenopsis orchids, roses, hydrangea, & snapdragons were on display in the large flower pieces.  Guests enjoyed the same luxurious blooms at the outdoor ceremony and were serenaded by this stunning room for the party that followed. Rustic Yellow Florals at Pine Hollow

Pine Hollow weddings are some of our favorites!  The barn can be such a wonderful blank slate for an outdoor wedding ceremony.  The Sisters design team was given the opportunity to design a bright & rustic backdrop for this photo shoot.  Yellow flowers were the star & we included roses, ranunculus, veronica, and other garden flowers to create a splash of color against the barn doors.  Images: Emily Broadbent Photography

Peach florals in focus at the Venue at Maison du Lac

A gorgeous bride at Maison du Lac

The Pantone color for 2024 is………peach fuzz!  We have designed some very lovely peach wedding flowers in the past year.  The peach color family was the focus of this wedding at the Venue at Maison du Lac.  This fall wedding didn’t use the traditional autumn tones.  Instead, we combined fall textures & warm peach, sherbet, & salmon tones to create an updated autumn look.  We used dahlias, ranunculus, & roses for their soft textures. Every element in the wedding, from the bridal bouquet …

St. Louis Art Museum (SLAM) Outdoor Ceremony

This lovely outdoor ceremony took place at the St. Louis Art Museum.  The wedding arbor was artfully decorated with tropical greenery & white blooms featuring phalaenopsis orchids, roses, & hydrangea.  Greenery swags marked the chairs along the aisle, while tall, white flower pieces flanked the back of the aisle for the bride’s entrance.  The guests were in awe of the venue and the artistic flowers on display for the ceremony.
