Lafayette Square Wedding & Reception

Autumn is a lovely time for a wedding in Lafayette Square!  This couple opted to say their “I Dos” in the grotto in front of the bridge.  The aisle was decorated with greenery swags on the chairs.  In addition to the scenic backdrop, we added flower pieces to the ground to help frame the bride & groom.  The flowers carried by …

Classic Winter Whites

Winter color schemes can be tricky, especially if the clients are trying to avoid a holiday wedding look.  Sometimes, a classic winter white palette can be simply perfect.  This was a wonderful example of a quintessential white/ivory wedding look for the bride and her maids.  Roses were used in three ways- standard blooms, garden blooms, and spray blooms.  These varied sizes …

Asymmetrical Arch at Bayer Event Center

We always love an outdoor wedding ceremony at the Missouri Botanical Gardens!  This wedding took place on the patio next to the Bayer Event Center (where the reception was also held).  With the autumn leaves on the trees, we created an asymmetrical “broken” arch, full of white and ivory textures and greenery.  The flower pieces flanked the bride and groom as they sealed …

Cascading Orchid Bouquet

This bouquet had some of the most beautiful orchids we have ever seen!!  Our bride wanted a romantic, trailing look for her flowers.  We delivered with a base of roses and baby’s breath, and cascading stems of Phalaenopsis orchids for added drama.  The bouquet was still held upright, but with the added fun of the draping orchids. Hot Pink & Fuchsia Flowers

This February wedding was chock-full of hot pink and fuchsia flowers.  Everyone was ready to see these bright blooms that reminded them that spring was coming.  The bouquets featured roses, ranunculus, amaranthus, and blue thistle to showcase not only pops of color, but textures as well.  The pink shades were spot on, right down to the bride’s lipstick.  We were …

Garlands Galore at Chandler Hill Vineyards

Magnolia can be such a wonderful fall color & texture for weddings.  We helped out with this ceremony & reception held last fall at Chandler Hill Vineyards.  The beautiful deck was the perfect location for the ceremony.  We brought flower pieces in the white & ivory palette for the barrels that flanked the vows.  The rows of long guest tables inside …

Outdoor Ceremony at Pine Hollow Farms

When the Missouri weather cooperates, an outdoor wedding can be simply spectacular!  This was certainly the case for these two lovebirds.  The outdoor patio at Pine Hollow Farms was the perfect canvas.  We decorated the venue’s hexagon arbor with fall tones in burgundy, peach, sherbet, and rust.  The aisle also showcased clusters of the fall flowers on the chairs as …

Barnett on Washington Wedding

The Barnett on Washington is such a regal and magical place for a wedding!  We had the pleasure of designing the flowers for a winter wedding held there in December.  White, ivory, and deep reds were the bride’s request for colors to compliment the space.  We brought bouquets of roses, cremones, ranunculus, cedar, and eucalyptus for both the bride & bridesmaids to …

Warm Tones for Winter

Winter flower colors can be so much more than traditional “winter white.”  This bride opted for the warm shades of orange, rust, sherbet, and peach for her flowers.  Her bouquet was full of the soft textures of roses, ranunculus, disbuds, waxflower, and stock.  The maids in the wedding party carried coordinating bouquets that complemented the deluxe version carried by the bride.  …

Dusty blue tones at the Coronado

The classic look of the Coronado was exactly what our clients wanted for their wedding reception.  The vintage rooms & embellishments in the space were perfect for their wedding vision!  We provided soft touches of flowers and candlelight to the reception setting.  The high & low flowers around the room gave visual interest to each table.  Flowers in dusty blue & ivory made the perfect …
